Senior IT Systems Engineer

Company Profile:
PureBlue IT is a small and friendly, but innovative and rapidly growing IT services company with offices in Kent and Central London. PureBlue is looking to expand their current operation and has a vacancy for a Senior IT systems engineer.

This role will initially be office based while full training and development takes place. You will eventually be expected to visit clients’ premises in Kent and London. You must have a current UK or European Driving Licence.

Personal Profile:
You must have a passion for the IT industry, be flexible and have an excellent telephone manner. You must be intelligent and a quick leaner and be educated to at least A level standard. It would be a distinct advantage if you were educated to degree standard or equivalent. You must be well spoken and posses excellent customer service skills.

You must have experience of the following:

  • » Microsoft Operating Systems
  • » Windows Server
  • » MS Exchange Server
  • » MS Office 2003/2007
  • » TCP/IP
  • » Support Desk Software

It would be extremely desirable for you to have experience of the following:

  • » Cisco IOS
  • » CCNA – Administration
  • » Cisco Call Manager – CCM
  • » Systems Maintenance and Installation
  • » Blackberry Enterprise Server
  • » VPN
  • » Databases e.g. ACT!

Salary: £18,000 - £30,000 depending on experience + Bonus and incentives.

Trainee IT Systems Engineer

No previous experience working in the IT industry is required, but you will need to demonstrate knowledge and an interest in technology and internet based ideas.

Salary: £12,000 - £18,000 depending on experience + Bonus and incentives.
